Frequently asked questions about Just Escape in La Grange

  • No matter your group size, you will never be with people you don’t know.

  • $33 per person every Week Day

    $36 per person every Weekend

    7 and under play free limit one free child per paying adult. Kid-only birthday parties are charged per player.

  • At Just Escape Rooms you will NEVER be locked in any room you enter.

  • Our Max Per Room depends on the room you plan on booking.

  • We ask for everyone in your group to arrive 15 minutes before your room’s start time.

  • If your looking to complete the waiver before you come in you should have gotten an email with the waiver attached.

    We also have waiver stations in store in case someone in your party forgot to fill it out before hand.

  • Our games were created for all ages. However, we believe children 13 years of age or younger should play with an adult in the room.

  • For the quickest and easiest experience we recommend booking online. However, you are more than welcome to give us a call anytime to make a booking over the phone.

  • If your thinking of walking in without a booking please check to make sure we have rooms available. We may be fully booked or have no more bookings available.

  • -For Call to Book Time Slots you must call 1 day in advance to make a booking (some exceptions may apply)

    -If you are looking to do an escape room outside of our normal hours please give us a call at (708)304-0007 or send us an email at contact@justescaperoom.com

  • If your looking to book a room but not sure of the total number of players coming with you. Book for the number of players you know are definitely coming and the rest can be added in store.

  • No Refunds: Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for cancellations.

    Instead of a refund, we offer a credit that can be applied to your next visit. If a booking is cancelled more then 3 times the credit for that booking is forfeited.

Our Story

Just Escape Room first opened its doors in 2017, bringing the very first escape room experience to the La Grange area. Starting with four original rooms The Attic, Split Personality, The Secret, and The Closet we quickly became a local favorite for immersive, puzzle-filled adventures that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

In 2023, Just Escape Room entered a new chapter under the ownership of Jordan Couch, a lifelong escape room enthusiast whose dream was to one day open a place of his own. Jordan brought with him three years of hands-on experience working with Escapology, the world’s largest escape room franchise, where he learned the operations at their Orland Park, Illinois location. In 2024, we began re imagining our lineup of rooms. The Closet and The Secret were retired to make room for our latest creation: Floor 66, a high-stakes, story-driven room that has already become a breakout hit with both new players and seasoned escape artists.

With a growing community of puzzle-solvers and a passion for building unforgettable experiences, Just Escape Room continues to evolve always keeping one step ahead to deliver the next great adventure.

  • Hello, my name is Jordan and I’ve been an escape room enthusiast for about 6–7 years now, and a haunt enthusiast for even longer. When I started my journey at Escapology, I did so with the dream of one day opening my very own escape room.

    After years of hard work and a lucky opportunity, I was offered the chance to take over Just Escape Room. I stepped into the business with the mindset that I knew what escape room players wanted and liked but I had no idea how to actually run a business.

    Slowly but surely, I found my way around and have grown Just Escape Room into what it is today. I’ve been lucky enough to design and build a room of my own: Floor 66. Since opening in August of 2024, over 2,000 players have taken on the challenge.

    I’m self-taught when it comes to building and running escape rooms from making props, setting up lighting, to managing the software that powers our games. I’m a fast learner when it comes to things I’m passionate about, and I hope to one day bring many more escape room experiences to players across the country.

    And hopefully, one day soon, I’ll bring a haunted house experience like no other to the Chicagoland area.
